The following post is to help me cool down after a mad battle against my geometry homework. It won this round....
This is one of these days where my brain decides to pick a fight with itself. One part of my brain says, "Hey, we have a lot of work to do. Why are we procrastinating and blogging when we should be doing our work!!" While another part of my brain says, "Phht! We still got time. And it doesn't really matter whether or not we get it done. It's just work." To which a third part of my brain replies, "We're just taking a break and calming down before we really do some damage to our research books."
I feel like I have a shoulder angel, a shoulder devil, and some sensible third thing sitting on my head. You would think that I find this strange, but it happens often enough that I just learn to ignore them and move to the fourth part of my brain that says "Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say."
But I really should be working on my research. hmmph. I have to write a five-to-ten page paper, and the outline is due on Friday. I'm writing about space shuttle disasters. I've found two giant books which cannot possibly fit into my backpack and I'm looking through those, but if any of you lovely readers has any info at all about one shuttle or another I'd be very grateful. I'll even publicly thank you on this blog.
Well, this is 10-4, good buddy. For now...

One Epic Night
Hey y'all! Just counting down the days until Christmas. And Christmas break. The snow has been... given very much attention. It snowed so much a few days ago that I didn't get to school until about 10:30 a.m.(apparently they don't plow until 10)
Anyways, let me tell you about my epic evening.
Last Saturday, I went with my friend to see the high school play she was performing in. During intermission, my mother calls my friend's dad and tells him that her tire blew up while she was traveling to my grandparents' house. Evidently, they couldn't get the tire fixed back up until the next day. So I was going to have to spend the night at my friend's house (not that it wasn't fun. Tell you about that in a minute), and my family was spending the night at my grandparents' house.(My mom shouldn't have been trying to drive in a snowstorm. It was really bad. There was a 50-car pile up it was so bad.)
After the play, and a discussion about fast food-stealing ninjas, we finally arrived at my friend's home. We really had nothing to do, so we decided to play a quick game of LIFE. Best. Game. EVER!! Long story short, I ended up with 8 ex-husbands, about 14 children and very strange names for all of them. One of the husbands was named Skull-Biter and he was a biker. See how strange my mind gets at 12 am? I ended up leaving all of my families in the woods to start tribes of "People that were dumped in the woods by Melody and still had something left in her car". I still ended up being a millionaire. HA! Take THAT, husband number 4!
This is one of those nights I'm going to remember for the rest of my life. It was WAY more exciting then I wrote it out to be. But hey, we can't all be Shakespeare.
Tis the nighteth that I willeth remember now and foreth eternity.
Now, I must bid thee, farewell,For my mother awaiteth to see meself off to bedeth.
