Maybe I should write more....

This is what happens when I decide to not blog about anything. I write less frequently and then POOF! I stop. And then school starts, which happens to be high school (UGH). And THEN I get addicted to improving my stupid compositions (that song I posted earlier was one of my first ones. I think i've gotten better).
But now i'm writing. Yeah, getting back in the habit. I hope. Ok... what to write...

I had SEOPs (Student Education Occupational Plan?) and I've got my high school career all planned out. I'm going to take summer classes and some Concurrent Enrollment courses and some AP classes. As many as I can get into. So, by the time I graduate, I'll have my associates degree. Then, I'm off to a university to study criminology and become a police officer. Um... that's all I have planned for now. it's really the most vague and blurry way I could describe that. This is the way my mind works at "too late for me to be up o' clock."

I apologize about this silly little post being so short, but it's time for bed and tomorrow's Saturday, and I really want to actually sleep 12 hours. Thank you for reading, and gooooood night!!!

Deep in Space... there lies a monster...

It is ever dwelling... and ever hungry for more...

People call it a menace.... yet no one has ever actually seen it. But it's there... lurking in utter darkness...theoretically in the middle of our own galaxy... and they are utterly awesome!!

EERK! Back it up! What happened to the creepy music? Oh, never mind.

I have just given you an excellent opening for a book about, yes, Black Holes. I personally think that they are SOOO neat! They interest me for some strange reason. Well, ALL of outer space interests me, but black holes are my favorite thing to study. You wanna know more? If you do, read on! If you don't... well... why are you even reading past this point! You should be changing the web address! Anyway...

Black holes are the explanation for that big huge void in the middle of our galaxy. (and millions of others). It's gravitational force is so powerful, it sucks in everything, even light. Hence, the term "Black Holes". This monster is so powerful, it even warps time and space. So, if you were ever to fall into a black hole (unlikely, but let's pretend) you would be stretched out like an elastic band. You would then be ripped apart, (duh!), and sucked down the black hole, which would take whatever was left of you to the supposed bottom of the black hole, which is called singularity.

The black hole is a dead star. It dies, and turns into a supernova, which then becomes a black hole. Cool, huh? The undead star. Planning it's revenge on the universe. oooo, chills. Anyway, the picture on the right shows that the black hole has an event horizon. This is the point of no return, basically. If you were flying a spaceship near a black hole, you could get out of orbit, with A LOT of fuel, if you hadn't gone past the event horizon. Pass that and you're a human elastic again.
We have already talked about the black hole warping space. Let's talk about time. As you got nearer to the black hole in your ship, time would slow down. You just wouldn't feel it at all. But if your friend was in another ship, they would see you slow down.
Let's say that you got out of your ship, and got sucked down the black hole. You, of course WOULD be sucked down, but because time is warped, your friend would see you get to the event horizon, and then get sucked down infinitely. They would see your image forever. But wait, how does that work if light gets sucked in too? Well, the naked eye wouldn't be able to see it, but theoretically, they would see your image. (mind you, these are just the bare facts. There is a lot of math involved).
If I told you all I knew, this blog would be really, REALLY long! But if you have a question, feel free to ask!
Thank you, and good night. (infinite night, when black holes are involved.)
